Have lived in Richmond Heights for 3 years now, it's only the next suburb over from where I was before, but feels like a whole different area. Everyone keeps their homes maintained with nice large lawns and kept landscaping. The streets are clean in the winter and the roads and sidewalks are all well maintained, which is a difficult task here in the Midwest. The schools I've seen are nice looking from the outside and we have A LOT of parks that are very nice and we'll maintained. You really don't feel like there's any crime at all and the police are extremely visible, always driving around and very involved in the community as well as the schools. I have the friendliest neighbors I've ever had. It's so quiet, you feel like you're in the country, but you're just minutes from everything. People AND city employees really seem to care deeply for the community. Wonderful place to live!

I've lived here for years and the area feels safe compared to a lot of other suburbs around here or in the Cleveland area. The people are generally very nice, the police and fire departments are involved in the community as they should be, and there are several vital businesses around, including some thriving small businesses. Overall, it's been a great city to live in and I would recommend it to any student or family.

Such a lovely community to call home. Everyone keeps their home and lawn in top shape. The neighborhoods are very quiet and diverse. On a beautiful sunny day you’re likely to see neighbors out jogging, walking their pets, or doing some type of yard work. I love being Minutes away from shopping from grocery stores, farmers markets, retail, restaurants, And with lots of nearby entertainment all around. Richmond Hts., offers some beautiful parks and nearby trails to explore. Overall just a lovely community w/ very pleasant people.
