I was here Friday on a post on health care and services offered. It's good to update for I have had such a bad experience with AAR Insurance including now trying to reach out to them for discharge at hospital. Having been a client for a few years both getting treatment at their hospital AAR HEALTHCARE KENYA LIMITED for few years upto until last week where got worse, I can conclusively say there is alot that is lacking on dealing with their clients and patients. I had been going to AAR Lavington for over 4 days without getting better and needed urgent attention as had gotten critical thus leading to admission in Nairobi Hospital. AAR Insurance immediately refused my admission yet the previous day they were covering costs at AAR Lavington. We had to put a down-payment, after looking for them relentlessly over the weekend and posting online, they got intouch to say we remove our online posts as they will cover the hospital bill with a threat of legal action. Come day of discharge kept calling them as the hospital came to let us know AAR Insurance hadn't approved, we called and they informed hospital they had a limit they had decided on and after that they were unreachable. The excuses we got from admission day; chronic conditions while I was been treated for influenza, getting wrong records under my name, type of doctor treating yet under their panel of doctors to nature of treatment among others...I have had the worst experience trying to get treatment, been taking round for days and all manner of reasons to avoid taking up payments, no one picking calls and bad services all round. I had finally pay half the total bill to get discharged as no one was picking calls. Its unfortunate experience with AAR Insurance that's a solid lesson when choosing one's cover and policy.
